The main challenge facing the design of this project was to combine the functions of living and working space, going back to the idea of an urban Roman house, where these functions formed a single unit in the urban structure.
Thus, the house consists of a well-developed residential part facing the backyard, and the design and architecture studios spaces facing the front facade. The entrance group is formed by several micro-spaces that separate the functions of private and public. The studio spaces have an all-glass facade, making the building more open from the street.
External finish is a combination of the natural texture of the wooden slats and the laconic dark gray color in which the steel facade panels, originally used on industrial sites, are painted.
