Reconstruction of a former store building into a restaurant of Georgian cuisine chain "Supra".
The object is located away from the center of Vladivostok, inside a busy residential area. The building is visually divided into several one-story volumes that give friendly appearance thanks to the careful detailing of the different patterns and textures on the facades. For example, the volume, which has large glazing, uncharacteristic of the image of a "Georgian house," is additionally covered by a translucent structure of perforated panels painted in deep wine color. The ornamental pattern of perforations refers to the mountain landscape of Georgia. Thus, the building is connected to the exterior space on the main facade.
Additional layers are created, allowing for a play of light and shadow in the interior, reducing solar overheating and generating special interest when interacting with the object.
Inside, in the planning structure, there are also several volumes, but of different heights (from 3 to 5 meters). In the center there is a 4x16 m light lantern, which creates a feeling of a garden and open space inside, which is important for Vladivostok climate, where the season of outdoor terraces is very short.
The interior was designed by Vladivostok studio LPTV DESIGN.
